Today’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9, NIV- “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:”
Warning, I am blowing my word count this morning. But I have an example of God’s provision I must share for the person who needs to hear.
I am a loner. At least that is what I have told myself or allowed the evil one to tell me. Our God is amazing, and I am in awe of Him. Without Him, I am nothing. That is two.
This morning in prayer, the Holy Spirit was praying and crying out in groanings I cannot comprehend. Us and the Holy Spirit, which is two. Just last night in my CR group I admitted that I think I may be delusional in my thoughts that I am happy and ok with being alone. Me and my group is two.
Yesterday, I encouraged someone to pray for direction and just let the bible open where it does and read God’s word for them. Us and the bible are two. This morning, I had laid out a bible in thoughts of giving it to this person and took my own advice and let it fall open.
My bible fell open to Ecclesiastes 1 and I read five chapters. I thought of writing about how God keeps us occupied with the gladness of our hearts or how I stand in awe of Him but found I have written on these previously. So, I moved on to my CR Step Study guide four in Lesson 23 where I have been capturing affirmations for a while on each scripture referenced.
The next verse I came to was Ecclesiastes 4:9. That’s it God, two instances of Ecclesiastes in one morning is confirmation of Your message to me.
Who has God brought into your life to increase the rewards of your labor?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty Father, LORD God of heaven. Thank You for Jesus and Your Holy Spirit. I am thankful LORD that Your Holy Spirit prays for me. I have come close to listen LORD. Thank You for speaking to me through Your Word and through others. I trust You LORD. Thank You for our daily bread. Thank You for bringing others into our lives so that our labor for You is fruitful. Thank You LORD for speaking to and for us. I trust Your ways O LORD. Amen.
