The Spirit of God has made me and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Today’s Scripture: Job 33:4, NLT- “For the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”

Believing that the Spirit of God made us and the breath of the Almighty gives us life encourages us to live for God. If he made us and breathes life into us shouldn’t we live the life He designed?

I am hesitant to rely on the words of Elihu as he is rebuking Job, the hero of this story. Sometimes we each need a wake-up call, don’t we?  Elihu reminds us in Job 33:6, NLT “Look, you and I both belong to God. I, too, was formed from clay.”

Our God is greater than any human. We may not recognize what He is saying to us. Sometimes we may need others to help us recognize the voice of God. God still sends angels and special people to intercede for us.

Thank You God for the special messengers You bring into our lives to get us back on track to the life You made for us.

Today’s Prayer:  Father God, thank You for making me and breathing life into me. Thank You for the messengers You have and will continue to bring into my life to keep me living the life You intend for me. Thank You Father God for Your favor and Your restoration. Thank You for saving me and filling my life with Your light. Thank you for constantly redirecting me so I enjoy Your light of life. Thank You LORD for Your Wisdom. Amen
