Thank You Lord Jesus and God our Father for eternal comfort and wonderful hope.

Today’s Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:16, NLT- “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope,”

I am thankful we can turn to the Lord Jesus Christ himself and to God our Father. Personal and real, they are the only source of the greatest encouragement and hope. No matter what we face we can always find comfort and hope in the almighty.

We most often find this comfort and hope when pressed into circumstances beyond our control. Can we really look to any others? As 2 Thessalonians 2:15 instructs us, we can stand firm and hold fast to the teachings passed on to us, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

I have found the most comfort and hope from the letter of the laws of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit of God directs me to His Word that eternally gives me comfort and a wonderful hope. Where the comfort and hope of humankind fails me, the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father never fail.

Today’s Prayer: Thank You Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father for the eternal comfort and wonderful hope You provide for us. Thank You for Your Word and our Holy Spirit who bring light and direction. Thank You for letting us share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am thanking You God always for Your love and direction. Thank You for Your work in me that grants me the belief in Your truths. Thank You for encouraging my heart and strengthening me in every good deed and word. Amen.
