Today’s Scripture: Psalm 106:45, NIV-“for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.”
Thank You LORD God for saving us over and over again. Thank You for remembering Your covenants and having mercy on us when we cry out to You.
In reading the various translations of Psalm 106:45 this morning, I find it interesting how many different ways the writers searched for the right words to express our never-ending gratitude. Some of the ways are as follows:
LORD, we are thankful for your great and unfailing love and Your abundance of steadfast love. Thank You for Your loving devotion and multitude of mercies. We recognize the greatness of Your mercies and the greatness of Your lovingkindness. We are praising You for the abundance of Your faithful love, the riches of Your faithful love, and the abundance of Your grace. Thank You for keeping Your agreements with us and for keeping Your rich mercy towards us.
How can you express your thanksgiving for God’s great love for you?
Today’s Prayer: Our Father in heaven, how awesome is Your name, I am crying out my thanksgivings to You. Thank You for your steadfast and unfailing love. I am praising You for Your great love for Your children. Thank You for remembering Your covenants with us although we have broken them. Thank You for saving us over and over with Your abundance of grace, mercy and faithful love towards us. Thank you for keeping Your agreements with us and help us to keep our agreements with you. In mercy and love I do pray thanksgivings to You. Amen
