Today’s Scripture: 1 Chronicles 28:10, NKJV- “Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.”
David’s words to Solomon are words for us. Just as Solomon was chosen, we have been chosen. What we have been chosen for can take a while to develop but when we know or have been shown it we must be strong and do it.
Although God chooses us He isn’t going to do our work for us. We must do the work. We must do whatever it takes. It is comforting too that these same scriptures tell us the Holy Spirit gave all of the plans to David but He would have Solomon do it. We can trust the Holy Spirit will give us the plans for our chosen work. These plans may come directly to us or from God’s servant.
If we are unclear today, let us thank God for choosing us and ask the Holy Spirit for His plans and to give us the strength to do it.

Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, my Father, help me to follow all of Your commands. Help me to serve You with a loyal heart and a willing mind. Thank You for searching my heart LORD and You know my every thought and desire. Forgive me. Bless me with Your Holy Spirit to know the plan You have for me. Grant me Your strength so I may do it. In the mighty, powerful, and faithful name of Jesus Christ I do pray. Amen.
