Today’s Scripture: Psalm 16:11, NKJV- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Not only does God show us our path of life, but He is also on our path. Psalm 16 is a reassuring chapter. When we step off God’s path, we do come to know that apart from God there is no good thing. No other gods bring the delight and joy of God.
When we seek refuge and safety in anything or anyone other than God, we are traveling a path that will bring disappointment. The fleeting riches of earth cannot compare to the wonderful inheritance from God. I am praising the LORD for giving me counsel and instructing my heart.
When life throws us for a loop, God is right there with us and as we turn our eyes to Him, we see our path. My heart is glad to know that God is right here with me, and I am praising Him that I can rest in His hope. I am filled with joy in His presence.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am praising You that I can turn my eyes to You, and You are wherever I am. Thank You for promising me that You will show me where to go and what to do. I am trusting In You and Your path LORD. Thank You for Your love and safety. You fill me with joy LORD I enjoy Your eternal pleasures. Thank you and amen.
