Thank You God for being the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and all mercies and comforts.

Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:3, NKJV- “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,”

I am pausing now to praise You Father God for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to save us and for granting us all mercies and comfort. In 2 Corinthians 1:4, Paul tells us that God gives us these comforts so we may be able to comfort others.

We are to comfort others with the comfort, we ourselves received from God the Father. What we received was Jesus Christ. The ultimate savior. In any of our troubles we can turn and accept that Jesus was crucified and raised again for us.

Jesus suffered for us, and our sufferings can serve to save and comfort others too. Most of our sufferings pale in comparison to Jesus or Paul yet in all our sufferings we learn we must rely on God. We must trust God.

We can offer up our prayers and our experiences so others too may find comfort. At the end of the day, we have the Father. Does that comfort you?

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for guaranteeing eternity with You. Thank You for the discomforts that brought me to You where I have found Your comforts. Help Me LORD to share with others who are in discomfort how Your comfort saves. Because of You LORD we can help all others in all kinds of troubles. Thank You LORD, Amen.
