Today’s Scripture: Genesis 33:11, NKJV- “Please, take my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” So he urged him, and he took it.”
Joseph was at first giving Esau gifts to soften him up. He was hoping that Esau would receive him peacefully. Esau said he already had enough Joseph also said he had enough.
How often do we feel we have enough and thank God for His graciousness to us? Like Joseph, can we trust in the favor of the LORD for our security and safety? Because I have found grace and favor in the sight of my LORD, I have more than enough. I don’t need what others have.
We just need God’s gracious favor. He has provided what we have, and he will provide our future needs. Let us choose God over the gods of this world. Out of thanksgiving for what we do have may we seek to purify ourselves.
God is with us in our times of need, and He is with us wherever we go, isn’t that more than enough?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for being so gracious to me. You are more than enough for me. I am very thankful for all that You have done for me and given to me. I am thankful for the wealth of Your grace and favor. I will continue to live and move in Your favor and Your honor. Guide me LORD and keep me in Your gracious favor wherever I go. Amen.
