Thank You God for answering me in the day of my distress and going with me wherever I have gone.

Today’s Scripture: Genesis 35:3, NLT- “We are now going to Bethel, where I will build an altar to the God who answered my prayers when I was in distress. He has been with me wherever I have gone.”

We each have had or will have our days of distress. A place where God alone can meet us. On that day and in that place, we cannot find help in anyone or anything else. It is there we cry out to God.

God does answer us in many different and personal ways and times. Just as our days of distress are different so are the ways in which God answers. I am thankful that God revealed Himself to me as I called out in the days of my distress. I kept crying out until I learned to hear Him. His answers have become clearer and His presence more assured.

God continues to answer me, and He has proven to be with me wherever I have gone since. I am thanking Him now and I am praying to encourage others to keep hope and to keep calling to Him in their distresses.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, the God Almighty of Israel, I am praising You and thanking You for answering me in my days of distress and proving yourself to be with me wherever I have gone since. You are here with me now LORD and I am thanking You. Thank You LORD for protecting us from evil and for comforting us in our distresses. Please continue to appear to us LORD and revealing Yourself to us with Your blessings. Amen
