Today’s Scripture: Psalm 104:1, NIV- “Praise the LORD, my soul. LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty.”
Yes LORD, my God, You are very great! Words fail to describe what comes from the depths of our souls. LORD, God, Jehovah, and Yahweh are ways we try to address God in various translations of this verse as being very great.
Our entire life is a journey of learning to look to His light. As our souls seek Him we find His nature. From the natural to the super-natural, God is very great.
As His creation praises Him, so can we. God feeds our bodies and our souls. This world and God’s majesty are beyond our understanding. Both animals and humans alike look to God and find that He gives us what we need at the proper time.
God satisfies our souls until the day we return to dust. LORD, you give us our breath. LORD, we rejoice in You. Does your soul praise the LORD?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, my soul is praising You. Thank You for all of Your creation. Your beauty and majesty are beyond amazing. My gratitude to You is beyond grateful. My love and thanksgiving for You cannot be captured by mere words. Thank You for breathing life into me. Help me to glorify You with the life You have given to me. My soul seeks You and I will praise You until my last breath. May my meditations and my praises be pleasing to You. Amen
