Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in You.

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 25:5, NLT- “Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.”

Our needs have not changed much since the times of David. These words in Psalm 25 can be our words today. We can simply ask God to please lead us by His truth and teach us. You, LORD, are the God of our salvation. All day long, today, we can put our hope in You. No interpretation required, just repeat the words in scripture for us.

We can be faithful in asking and recognizing who we are asking. Regardless of outcomes we can trust that God is taking this moment, this circumstance to lead, teach, and save. We can keep hoping in Him.

The same mercy and love God gave to David, He gives to us. We are reminded in Psalm 25:7-8 that God is good and upright, and He will teach us the way to go.

Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for saving me. I am asking You now to lead me in Your truth and teach me. All day long, today, I am putting my hope in You. Lead us LORD. Teach us LORD. You are the God who saves. All day long we put our hope in You. You alone are good, and I am trusting You LORD. Amen
