Jesus, I am praying to do as You have done for me.

Today’s Scripture: John 13:15, NKJV- “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”

Jesus came, not only, to die for our sins but to also give us an example of how to live. Jesus came and taught the spirituality of God in us. He took it past human understanding of the law. From cold and stringent adherence to law to the purpose of the law.

Jesus brought and taught the power of meekness and humility. Jesus gave and gives us grace when we do not deserve it so we too can give grace and love to those we feel do not deserve it. Jesus served and washed feet to give us an example of who we are to be.

I am thankful that Jesus is patient with me. I am praying now to be this patient with all others. The blessings we receive we can give. Jesus was who He said He was, and we can be who He says we are.

Will you accept who you are in Christ?

Today’s Prayer: Thank You Jesus for coming for us. Thank You for teaching us and being our example to be one with God. God in us and us in You. Lord, help me to live as a spiritual being. Help me to restore others as You restore me. Grant me a gentle spirit of love. Help me to forgive and restore others based on the example You gave. Amen
