Today’s Scripture: Romans 8:26, NLT “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.”
Have you experienced the Holy Spirit praying for you? Sometimes I am reminded to silence my thoughts and my mouth and to trust in the Holy Spirit to pray on my behalf.
As I kneel before God, my closed eyes looking up to the light of our Father who is Heaven, I seek the connection of the Holy Spirit. It does happen. What is communicated, I do not know. I am reminded that the Holy Spirit knows more about what is needed than I do.
I can feel my soul open to God and I just have to trust that this unintelligible communication between God and Spirit is taking place. Why would I control the conversation when I don’t know what the future holds but God holds the future.
I trust that the Holy Spirit and this communion with God is shaping me into who He wants me to be.
Do you trust the Holy Spirit to pray for you?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for praying with the Holy Spirit for me. I trust You are coordinating Your will. I trust You to shape me and mold me into Your willing servant. I am comforted and strengthened to know the Holy Spirit knows Your will and myself better than I. Teach me Holy Spirit the prayers of Jesus. I praise You LORD and pray I will complete Your will for me today. Amen
