Today’s Scripture: Psalm 108:1, CSB- “A song. A psalm of David. My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being.”
As we laid my earthly father to rest, the common theme, and song in his service was “just as I am.” We will complete our race by being who God intended for us to be. My dad was that man.
When we give our hearts and souls to God, we can be confident in who we are. Who we are sings praises to our God. When we are true to our song to all people, we complete what we were created to be.
We are most effective and true to ourselves and to God when we praise God with our whole being. The messages and meaning we receive from God are who we are to be and do. We should not divide our effectiveness by trying to be someone we are not. We fulfill our promise and the promises of God when we are true to who we are.
What is your soul singing?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father we praise Your name with our whole being. You LORD are our creator and our song. I am praying to praise You LORD with who I am in You. Help me LORD to fulfill Your promises by being steadfast in my heart and soul. Help me LORD to share Your praises with all people. Thank You LORD for Your blessings and Your promises. Amen
