Today’s Scriptures: Job 37:14, NKJV- ““Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.”
The world cries out for us to stay busy. Our God cries out for us to be still. I am choosing to be still right now and get to know God and consider His ways.
Celebrate Recovery’s Principle 7B Verses Psalm 46:10 and Job 37:14 both remind me of the power of being still. Psalm 46:10, NKJV states “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Job 37:14 NKJV states “Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.”
Ok God, I am clearly hearing You this morning. I am still now, and I do know You are God, and I am blown away by Your wonders. In this stillness, I am considering Your ways and believing You will be exalted on this earth. Thank You for allowing me to experience Your wonders.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am still before You. Thank You for Jesus and Your Spirit who guide and welcome me into Your presence. When I am still and look to see Your face, I know the seriousness of life and death. I do know You are God and as I look into the eyes of Jesus, I come to know Your ways. Your ways are wonderful LORD, and I am praying Your name is exalted throughout the earth. Thank You Lord Jesus for showing us Your ways. Amen.
