I have been baptized with the proof of God’s power.

Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 10:2, NIV- “They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.”

God continues to prove Himself. We are worshiping the same God who led our biblical ancestors with the cloud and helped them pass through the sea. His amazing provision to those people baptized them to trust His way.         

God is still making our way. He continually proves Himself and provides spiritual food. We have the spiritual rock of Jesus Christ to drink from. Jesus is traveling with us every day and providing for every need. We must choose continually to crave the things of God and to trust in His power.

We learn and find hope and power from God’s Word.  We are warned that if we think we are standing firm we must be careful not to fall into temptation.  God is faithful; He will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. God has proven Himself to me and baptized me in His power.

Do you believe that God’s power still provides a way for you?

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for providing the way for Your people. Thank You for teaching us with Your Word. Thank You for proving Your power to me over and over through Your Word and provision. I know only You can do such things. I have been baptized in Your power. I am craving You and asking You to protect me from temptation. Continue to open the eyes of all peoples of the earth to Your power and majesty. Thank You Jesus for being my rock in which I can drink daily. I am trusting in Your power and in Your way. I am following You. Amen
