I find myself in Christ.

Today’s Scripture: Philippians 3:8-9, ESV- “Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—“

Six years ago I was looking for a scripture so I searched my affirmations list by the word “find” and found more than I could have imagined.  Today, I revisited this process and realized I cannot exhaust God’s findings.

• If we search we will find. Some of the promises I found today:
• I find joy in God.
• I find everlasting joy in the LORD.
• In Jesus I find hope.
• I find hope in God’s love and compassion.
• I find victory in Christ.
• I find life in Jesus.
• I find life in the Father and His Son.
• I find life in God’s Spirit.
• I find life in the Word.
• I find life in losing mine.
• I find my value in God.
• I find peace in God’s commandments.
• I only find peace in the LORD.
• I find thanksgiving in the LORD.
• I find purpose and direction in prayer.
• I find favor because the LORD is with me.
• I find my soul in Jesus.
• I give my life to Jesus and find my soul.
• I go to Jesus and find life.
• I go and find what Jesus promises.
• I go and find what Jesus tells me to find.
• I find what I need through Jesus.
• I find my wishes in Jesus.
• I find encouragement in Christ.
• I find understanding in the Spirit.
• I must go from where I am to find what God will show me.
• When I enter God’s rest I find rest.
• I find glorious rest in Jesus.
• In Jesus I find rest for my soul.
• I return to the Spirit of the LORD and find rest.
• I find understanding in the spirit.
• The Lord shows me His way so I know Him and find His grace.
• The Lord finds pleasure as I turn from my ways and live.
• In the Lord’s name I find power.
• I can come before God’s throne where I find grace.
• I find mercy and grace in my time of need.
• I return to the LORD and find grace, mercy and kindness.
• In obedience to God I find His riches.
• God finds pleasure in me.
• I find pleasure in the word of the Lord.
• I find God when I seek Him with all my heart.
• I will seek until I find God.
• I turn to the LORD God and find pleasure.
• In confession I find healing.
• I find success in God.
• I find my value in God.
• I find purpose and direction in prayer.
• I am a servant to all and find the greatness of God.
• I am blessed in my mourning because I find comfort.
• I find my way by following the God who led by cloud and fire.
• I ask and it is given to me, I seek and I do find, I knock and the door is opened for me.
• I have found more than enough for my soul this morning. What do you find when you seek Christ?

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Word. Your Word is with us and in us. Thank You for the joy, hope and life we find in You. LORD, I will look no other place to find myself and to find You. You are all I need and I pray to live from and for You today. Thank You Father for helping us find what You desire for us when we search. Amen
