Today’s Scripture: John 14:11, NIV- “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.”
My confidence is in Jesus. I believe Him. Jesus was firm with Philip in John 14:9 and asked him how he could ask Him to show him the Father. Don’t you know me?
We do know Him. We just need to love Jesus and keep His commands. Our faith is in Jesus not in how well we believe and do. We need Jesus and His Helper to obey His commands. Thankfully, we are told in John 14:16 that Jesus left us the Comforter that is with us forever. I believe that. It feels good to know that we are never alone with the Holy Spirit of The Father is living in us.
I believe that because Jesus lives, I live as promised in John 14:19. I do believe that Jesus in in the Father, that I am in Him, and He is in me as stated in John 14:20. I pray to keep the commands of Jesus to prove my love for Him.
I am thankful for the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things and reminds us of everything Jesus said. I believe the Holy Spirit is doing these things as promised in John 14:26. My confidence is in the Holy Spirit and not in me. We do know, we just need to believe and do what we know.
Just as Jesus promised in John 14:27 this is where we find peace. We can trust the Holy Spirit of God and not worry or be fearful that we do not know. We know. We must love the Father and we have His Helper to help us do what He commands.

Today’s Prayer: Thank You Father God for Jesus. I believe that Jesus is in You, I am in Jesus, and He is in me. I believe that Your Holy Spirit lives in me to help me obey Your commands and remind me of everything Jesus said. I believe what Jesus said. I do need You Father and Your Spirit to obey Your commands and to complete Your works. Help me to do what I know I must do. Amen.
