Today’s Scripture: Acts 27:23, KJV- “For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,”
Paul was brash, bold, and confident because he had no doubt whose he was. This was also not based on his circumstances. Do we know whose we are in the middle of our storms?
During fourteen days at sea and facing a seemingly hopeless situation, God reassured Paul. In the middle of the sea, in the middle of a storm, there stood an angel of God. Wherever we are and whatever is going on God sees us and His angels can reach us.
It is not our strength nor the knowledge and skills of those around us that assure our safety. Whether we can see the angels or not they are here with us. The most critical thing to be and know is that we are God’s. If our greatest desire is to serve Him, He will protect us and use us to encourage others.
Say this with me: I am Yours God and I am serving You today.
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am Yours. I am serving You and trusting You to complete Your will. Use me LORD in the midst of life’s storms. My faith and my confidence are in You. I am thankful for Your mighty angels who guide and protect me. Protect my way today LORD show me now thine way. Help me to give thanks to You before all others so they too may be encouraged to know You and serve You. Amen
