Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 2:5, NIV- “Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the LORD.”
In a dark world, we can walk in the light of LORD. The days of Isaiah sound amazingly like today. They too were crying out for the Almighty God to avenge them and to bring His wrath on the evil rulers.
Just as in the days of Isaiah, the world still calls us to bow down to work and evil people. We will all be humbled.
We have a choice to hide or step into the splendor and glory of God’s majesty. We are instructed to not put our trust in mere humans for they are frail. The idols of the arrogant rulers will be brought down and they will disappear.
If we continue to seek the light of the LORD and do what is right we will enjoy the fruits of the LORD. Will you step into the light of the LORD today?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, we need You to avenge Yourself against these evil human rulers. We are humbled in our powerlessness and we are crying out for Your power. However, LORD, we will not cower before man and we will not hide from You. We are stepping out LORD to be exposed by Your light and we will walk proudly as Your children. We put our faith in You alone. We only exalt You Father God as we are Your people. Help us to do what is right so we will eat of Your fruits. In Jesus’ name we do pray. Amen
