Today’s Scripture: Romans 3:9, NIV- “What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.”
Can we admit, as Paul does here in Romans that we all sin? Romans 3:10 tells us there is none righteous among us, “not even one”. I am praying to God for Him to help me seek Him. Can I be useful to You God by admitting my sins? There is more healing and worship in our honesty and acceptance than our false presentations. We find peace in being real with God and others.
If we fear God more than what others think of us we find true peace. We know it is not our works or actions that save us, the Word is clear on this. We can be made right only with faith in Jesus Christ. If we have faith in our sinlessness we are in for the wrong awakening.
Are we willing to humble ourselves and admit we are sinners and accept Jesus Christ’s grace today?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the grace of Jesus Christ. Jesus, thank You for taking my sins upon You. I am humbled by Your grace and my inability to resist sin. I admit I am a sinner and need You and Your grace today. I love You Lord and place my faith in You over my ability to resist sin. I am seeking You and how You can use my sins to help others find faith in the grace of Jesus Christ. In You I have been accepted and set free. Amen
