Today’s Scripture: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; Lamentations 3:22 ESV
Do you have to remind yourself at times that the LORD loves you and has mercy for you? Sometimes are you just not feeling this God thing? Are you only feeling hopelessness?
Don’t you want to help those you know who are feeling hopeless? I am certain that God’s God sized heart breaks for the hopeless too. We have to do as Jeremiah wrote about here in Lamentations 3.
Our only hope in our own lamentations is to recall to our minds as stated in Lamentations 3:21 that the steadfast love of the LORD never ceases, His mercies NEVER come to an end. If we will recall this, sometimes forcefully, we will experience Lamentations 3:23.
This verse promised that the LORD’S love and His mercies are NEW every morning if we will recall His love and His mercy. It is here we find hope.
May our souls seek Him and find hope in His faithfulness.
Today’s Prayer: LORD God thank You for your never-ending love and mercy. LORD thank You for bringing my eyes and my heart back to recall Your promises. LORD I thank You for the freshness of this morning’s love and hope You have shared with me. I pray Your love, Your mercy and Your hope for those who are feeling hopeless. Please help them to recall Your hope and to remember it each morning. Amen
