Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 26:1, NLT- “In that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song: Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation.”
We are still surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation. In the previous verses we are reminded that the LORD, our God, will bring down the pride and evilness of our enemies. Who are our enemies? Those who desire to tear down the walls of God.
I am glad that I have the salvation of God and that I can trust Him to protect me through this salvation. Regardless of the evilness going on outside my walls I am safe in here with God. The LORD is my God; I trust Him and I am rejoicing in His salvation. He is my refuge and place of peace.
We must be careful who we let in our gates. Perfect peace is only kept by staying close to those who trust in the LORD. I am trusting in You LORD forever. The LORD JEHOVAH is my everlasting strength.
Is the desire of your heart to live in your salvation?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, You are my God. I am rejoicing in Your name and Your salvation. Thank You LORD for surrounding me with Your walls. Forgive me for when I attempt to take on our enemies with my tongue and my flesh. I am unable to stem the tide of evil without You. I am trusting You LORD to bring down the pride and evilness of our common enemies. I am thankful that the walls of Your salvation protect us. Help me to stay close to those who trust in the LORD so we may trust and live together in Your everlasting strength. You are the LORD JEHOVAH, my God. Amen
