Today’s Scripture: Psalm 96:1, NKJV- “Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth.”
I can begin singing a new song to the LORD today that is praising His name and proclaiming the good news that He is saving people day after day.
I have spent almost the entirety of my life singing the same old song and dance. I can choose to sing of God’s goodness and hope today. It is God who saves peoples and nations. When we look and sing to the LORD we witness His marvelous and wonderful works.
Our LORD is great and He reigns today! He is worthy of our praise and to be feared above all other gods and circumstances. My God made the heavens and the earth. If the trees of the forest can sing for joy as in Psalm 96:12 so can our lives. May our lives burst with joy and give credit of all glory and strength to the LORD.
The LORD will judge our faithfulness.
Will we sing a new song to the LORD today?
Today’s Prayer: Great is Your name O LORD. You are the source of all wonders. I am singing a new song today LORD of Your glory and strength. Forgive me Father when I fail to give You all glory that You deserve. Help me to sing a new song LORD. Help me to sing of Your joy and Your promises of salvation today. You LORD are the salvation for all peoples and nations. Amen
