Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 1:7, NCV- “In Christ we are set free by the blood of his death, and so we have forgiveness of sins. How rich is God’s grace,”
Last night’s CR Lesson 18 entitled “Grace” was so full of scriptures I could not write down affirmations fast enough. Of course, the first scripture I came to this morning in CR Lesson 25 entitled “Seven Reasons We Get Stuck” is a scripture in both lessons, Ephesians 1:7.
Last night I jotted down “I am set free by the blood of Christ.” That feels wonderful, doesn’t it? How in this world do I turn away from that to live enslaved by the ways of humankind? I want to live as God wants me to live.
We can get consumed by trying to please everyone else. I want to live to please God. One reason I get stuck is because I do not live as if I am set free. Today, I am set free by the blood of Christ and my greatest desire is to live for Him and to share the riches of God’s grace that sets others free.
Are you set free?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free with Your Son Jesus Christ. I am accepting Your Freedom LORD. I am living in Your light and love. In Jesus, I have received every Spiritual blessing. I am living in these blessings today. Thank You LORD for choosing me. I am living to please You today. Thank You for Your wonderful grace that You have given so freely to me. I am freely giving away what You have given me today. Amen.
