Share the post "I am planting the seeds You have given me God and I am trusting You to make them grow."
Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3: 6, NIV- “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”
In 1 Corinthians 3:5 we are instructed that each of us have an assignment. I only pray to be faithful to carry out my assignment. Many times I don’t know why I do what I do but I feel compelled to be faithful.
At risk of offending and even exposing my fleshly nature, I plant the seeds of the Spirit of God I have been given. Why? Because God Himself has given me this assignment. I have accepted the fact that many of my seeds may not sprout until I am no longer on this earth, yet I am trusting God with the growth.
Others will help water your works too. We can trust God to finish His work. You and I aren’t anything but it is God who makes things grow. So let us do our assignment and trust God.
Will you plant the seeds of your purpose today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your workers that have come before me. Thank You for helping me to water their seeds. Thank You LORD for giving me my assignment. Grant me the diligence to be faithful in the work You have given me to do. I am praying Your blessings on the seeds I am casting. Help me to complete the works You have given to me. I am trusting You Father God for all increase and growth that You intend. Thank You for Your increase. Amen
