Today’s Scripture: 2 Chronicles 6:13, NIV- “Now he had made a bronze platform, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, and had placed it in the center of the outer court. He stood on the platform and then knelt down before the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands toward heaven.”
Prayer is powerful. God’s Word is amazing. When you combine the two you add the super to the natural. Something supernatural or super-spiritual takes place for sure.
As I was focused on connecting with the Holy Spirit this morning, continuing to try and learn to pray as Jesus did. I was reminded by Jesus’ words on how to pray and praying the Holy Spirit would help me experience what Jesus experienced during His times alone with God. I even wondered if there is a proper posture that helps get me in line with God and His Spirit.
After all of these thoughts and trying to let go and let God and have the Spirit pray for me, the first scripture I read was 2 Chronicles 6:13 and my first affirmation was “I kneel down on my knees and spread out my hands towards heaven.”
God’s Word often answers prayer-time questions. Do you experience God as Jesus did?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am kneeling and raising my hands to You. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who continues to teach me the fullness of prayer. I praise You Father God and kneel in awe of Your amazing love that endures forever. Thank You for Your Word and laws. Help me to walk before you in accordance to Your law. And now, LORD, the God of Israel, let Your word that You promised come true. Amen
