Today’s Scripture: Romans 12:6, NIV- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;”
You have a gift that someone needs right now. Our gifts and the grace required have already been given to us. As part of the body of Christ we were given these things to support all others.
In Romans 12:3 we are instructed to give in the measure of faith we have been given. This faith has already been given to us so let us freely give. Let us not wait to build our faith. We have it now. The other parts of the body are relying on our gifts.
By God’s design each of us have been given something the rest of the body needs to function. We must give what we have with a sense of urgency, diligence and passion as the body needs us to survive. As we diligently and cheerfully give the world and the body of Christ thrive.
What gift will you give away today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for the gifts and faith You have given me. Help me to be my part of Your body today. Make us aware and confident in the gifts and faith You have given to us. Empower us to give diligently and boldly. Keep evil and doubts far from us and remind us we have enough in You. Grant us awareness of Your body and show us how our gifts are required. Amen
