Today’s Scripture: Psalm 100:4, ESV- “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!”
One of the things I love about going to the LORD first thing in the morning is that I know I have thanked God, my creator, above everything else. I am entering into His domain with thanksgiving.
I am acknowledging that I am His sheep and that I am relying on His love, faithfulness, and power. When I am entering God’s gates I am with God. When I am offering Him my thanksgivings and praise, I am grateful for my blessings seen and unseen. I am acknowledging His power and understanding that is above and beyond my own.
Yes LORD, I am thankful and I praise Your name! LORD, I am serving You with gladness. Thank You for making me. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for allowing me to know You.
I am giving thanks to You LORD! Will you give thanks to God today?
Today’s Prayer: Dear LORD, my God, I am entering Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. LORD, I am serving You with gladness and I am coming into Your presence with joy. Thank You for making me and for loving me. I am thankful for Your faithful presence and power. Thank You for allowing me to enter Your gates to be with You, the Almighty. I love You and thank You LORD. Amen
