Today’s Scripture: Genesis 17:3, KJV- “And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,”
My life changed when I began falling on my face before God. On most days I fall on my face before God well before the sun arises.
Face down the eyes of my flesh look to recall the “Prince of Peace” picture of Jesus to burn it into my minds eye in hopes I will recognize Him on that day. Of course, the song “I can only imagine” comes to mind because I really don’t know how I will react when I am before Him.
I fall on my face and my spiritual eyes look to the face of Jesus and I ask the Holy Spirit to remind me of everything Jesus said. I ask the Spirit to pray with me as Jesus taught us to pray. My spiritual eyes look to the light of God, and I see His light and feel His light flood my heart.
Do you fall on your face before God?
Today’s Prayer: Father God. LORD God, Holy One of heaven, I am falling on my face before You. Thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who taught us to pray. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who is praying with me now. Open my eyes LORD to see and welcome You from above. Come LORD feed me Your Word and my daily bread. You alone LORD set my days and the times of my life. You alone I trust and praise for my life. I love You and praise You LORD. Amen
