Today’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:13, KJV- “Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.”
We must continually seek God’s Wisdom. The strength of a triple-braided cord mentioned in Ecclesiastes 4:12 instructs to keep another close. We are in trouble if we fall when we are alone. We can help others up or they can help pull us up when we are down.
With another person there is only two of us. Bound together with another human being and God we are never broken. We are never too old to learn from God’s wisdom. Even if no longer youthful, we can accept admonishment and the guidance of Wisdom.
Armed with God, others, and His wisdom, we are rising to succeed in the kingdom God has brought us to. Never too old to learn. When we are seeking God, He will bring the right people together to form the cords to complete His will. Let us keep our eyes and ears open. Ecclesiastes 5:1 instructs us to go near and listen.
Are you listening and learning from God?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am praising You for Your Kingdom. Thank You for bringing Your kingdom to us and for sending us into our kingdom. LORD, bring Your people together to form the cords of strength to fulfill Your Will. Thank You LORD for those who have helped to pull me up. Take me to where I can help and pull others up. You LORD, Your Spirit, and Your Wisdom I am praying to seek always. I welcome Your instruction and admonishment to complete Your will. Amen.
