Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 2:3, NIV- “I wrote as I did, so that when I came I would not be distressed by those who should have made me rejoice. I had confidence in all of you, that you would all share my joy.”
Do you ask yourself why you do things? Why in this world would I turn into a morning person to seek God’s face and then write to you my experience? This scripture probably captures it best. I have found a joy in my early morning meetings with God that I just want to share the joy I have found.
It is illogical yet each and every time I show up God shows up larger, brighter, and more available than the last. With joy I have found grace, peace, comfort, strength, and purpose. This is why I write to you and I know God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit will have you sharing my confidence in them.
Out of great distress and anguish in my heart, I dropped to my knees to seek God. I searched His Word for affirmation and I found so much more. I am confident you will too.
Do you share my joy?
Today’s Prayer: Our Father in Heaven, how great is Your name. Please bring Your kingdom and Your will into our hearts, our nation, and our world now. I praise You for Your joy and I thank You for sharing Your joy with others. I find joy in the joy of others who come to know and love You. I give out of my love for You LORD. My love for You Father gives me love for others. I am reaffirming my love for You and others now. Thank You for forgiving me Father God and using me to share Your joy. Amen
