Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:18, KJV- “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
We are all being changed. What are we allowing into our lives that we will reflect to the world? 2 Corinthians 3 is focused on the Spirit of the Lord. Paul tells us that we are a letter written to this world. A letter that has been written on our hearts.
How will everyone read us? We are told in 2 Corinthians 3:3 that we are a letter written by Christ; not written with ink but in the Spirit of the Living God on the tablets of our hearts. This is where we find confidence. We can be confident when we are who we are in Christ.
Our competence comes from God, as stated in 2 Corinthians 3:5. The Spirit of God gives us life. With the Holy Spirit giving us life, our lives will shine and give God glory. When we live from the Spirit of God we continue to change and be transformed constantly.
What will your heart reflect today?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for writing Your glory on the tablets of our hearts with Your Spirit. I am praying now LORD, to reflect Your Spirit. Prepare my heart LORD so that I reflect You to this world. Thank You for the constant transforming of Your Holy Spirit. Change me LORD and use me LORD to reflect You. Amen.
