Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 2:7, NLT- “So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.”
I have begun a chronological search back through God’s promises to me and the affirmations of God He gave me. On the first day January 9th, 2008, this verse was noted that I had been saved by faith and I had received the gift of grace from God.
It is rich that we find God’s immeasurable riches by being broke. I was seeking God because of being lost to alcoholism. In hitting my knees and seeking His Word because I was spiritually and morally bankrupt, I received God’s Grace and he raised me up to heavenly places.
I overlooked the fact, in my notes at least, the why I had gone through my darkness. Now I see and pray to realize to live out my example of God’s incredible wealth of grace and kindness.
Will you live your life as an example of God’s all-surpassing riches of grace and kindness?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your incredible wealth of grace and kindness You have given me in Your gift of Jesus Christ. Thank You LORD for using me as an example of your grace, kindness, love, and provision. Thank you for bringing me near to you by the blood of Christ. Thank You for making me a new person so I can encourage others to live out the newness of who they are as an example of Your wealth of grace and kindness towards us all. Amen.
