Today’s Scripture: I am always overwhelmed with a desire for your regulations. Psalm 119:20 NLT
God’s word, His regulations overwhelm me each and every time I go to them. As I have been working my way through the Psalms I almost did not read Psalm 119 this morning because I already have captured almost 150 affirmations from this one chapter.
God helps me seek Him with my whole heart. I see wonderful things in God’s laws and my soul is consumed by them. The LORD teaches me His statutes and I delight in them more than all riches. The LORD helps me delight, remember and to live in His laws.
Just as He promises here in Psalm 119:18 The LORD opens our eyes to see wonderful things in His law. LORD draw our hearts and our eyes to Your laws so we may be overwhelmed with Your delight! LORD forever make my soul lust for Your commands. Help me to meditate on Your wonderful works.
Are you ever overwhelmed with God’s Word?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for Your Word. Thank You for Your righteousness and Your faithfulness. Please keep my eyes and my heart fixed on Your word. Thank You for consuming me with delight in Your Word. Teach me Your ways so I may live them to the end. Amen
