| Today’s Scripture: Lamentations 3:22, NLT- “The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease.” Do you need hope? A book called Lamentations on the surface does not sound like a place to go. Lamentations 3:21 tells us that although we are in dark places if we remember certain things we will find hope. If we remember that God’s love and mercies never fail, we forget our own lamentations. We can seek and find God’s love and compassion new every morning. Today is a new day. Great is God’s faithfulness. He offers His love, compassions, and mercies to us today. Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the LORD; – Lamentations 3:40 (NKJ). Let us examine what we are doing that may be causing our pain and turn back to God. He will love us unconditionally and He will receive us with compassion. As we lift our hands up to Heaven and look to God and draw near to Him with our heart, soul, mind and strength we lose fear of the darkness left behind and receive His rays of hope. Today’s Prayer: Thank You God for Your faithfulness. I am remembering all that You have done. I am hallowing Your name. Thank You LORD for your love and mercies that are renewed every morning. I am hoping in You today and thank You for Your love and compassion. I am turning to You now, with my hands and heart raised high to remember all that You have done. My hope lies in You Father God and I am trusting in Your daily bread of love today. Amen |
