Today’s Scripture: I Chronicles 16:34 NIV: Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Thanks “GIVING” feels differently than thank “FULL” doesn’t it?
When I struggle to get to where I need to be in prayer I have found if I stop thinking of things to pray and simply give thanks and praise to God I am where I need to be. Giving thanks every day in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18) also puts us where we need to be living as well, don’t you think?
When we live from a place of giving thanks to the LORD, we show His love to others as well. Giving thanks to God gives us more thanksgivings and love to give away.
I give thanks now for you taking a moment to read this and for what you do. I also am giving thanks for what God will be doing in your life as you give Him thanks.
Do you feel a difference between thankfulness and thanksgiving; or is it just me?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I give You my thanks. I praise You for being my God and my LORD. I thank You for Your mercy, Your grace and Your love. I overflow with thankfulness Father God and ask You to help me be a better thanks giver.
I love You and thank You for Your many blessings. Amen
