Share the post "Affirmations of God: I am now going into the land God has given me."
My friends, I am going in. For some time now I have been preparing myself to go. To where I am not sure but surely I am going. I am praying to take you or encourage you to go too.
I have new friends here and some of you who have been with me for almost five years. I have come to a point where I am led to not only share what God puts on my heart but to teach others the way God has made His Word come alive for me. For quite a while I have felt it not so important to share what I have found but to teach others to find what the Word of God is saying to them.
With the same strength and courage that God called Joshua to go, I am going. Like Joshua, I feel called to encourage others to go and take possession of their land. As I reposted a blog of taking possession of the land God had promised me that was almost two and a half years old I thought of no better time than to go in than when engulfed in the strength and courage of Joshua’s call.
I pray to teach the process God has revealed to me. I teach it not as THE way but A way to have the Word of God and the promises of God be alive in our lives today so that each of us go and do what God formed us to do.
Today’s Scripture:
Joshua 1:2 (ESV): “Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel.
Affirmations I have found in this verse:
- It is up to me to share God’s promises. (Moses and others are now dead!)
- I am arising and going into the land God has given me.
- I am now going into the land God has given me.
- I am encouraging God’s people to go into the land He has given them.
The challenge if you choose to accept it, as you read these few words, what does God speak into your spirit today? How can you phrase it and write it out as a positive call/affirmation for your life?

I have captured almost 16,000 Affirmations of God that I will probably never be able to share in my lifetime but I am praying now that I can teach others to receive the blessings and promises of God’s Word to them.

I love that you are going to teach us to glean affirmations from the Word, and I am amazed that you pulled four out of this single verse. I thought you left nothing behind when you went though this particular field. But as I read it, I found one of my own – God’s word is amazing.
The Father is calling my community to take the land before us together.

Naïvely at one time I thought I would run out of affirmations but now I know He always speaks to where we are and where He wants to take us. Thank you Deb, all out trust in the ONE who has promised us this land and is calling us. All though we can not see it yet and do not know how we faithfully go. LORD we trust in You and Your provision to guide our steps and teach us with Your Holy Spirit. Blessings and going my friend!
