Today’s Scripture: and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 ESV
Say this out loud, I am free! Saying those words, you can feel the rivers of living water flow, can’t you? Jesus tells us we will know freedom if we abide in His word.
To abide is to stay in His word, to live there. It is here we find true freedom that only the Father can give.
Living with God, trusting God frees us from the lies of this world. God’s power and His Spirit overcome everything. Trusting this world and its false promises and understandings will never produce lasting freedom. Just as Jesus said we will become slaves to this sin.
Have you been enslaved by the belief that you will find some form of freedom in this world? John 8:36 promises, if the Son has set us free we are free indeed.
Do you trust the Word? Have you been set free?
Today’s Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for Your word to us. In Your word and Your Son I have found true freedom. I trust Your word over my understanding. I know Your truth is beyond what I feel or what I experience in the flesh. You LORD are my only freedom and I ask You to help me live with You. Amen

Thanks, Tom!
With the “world view” constantly being thrown in our faces, it is a daily (sometimes hour by hour) to stay in His word. I choose to by free in His truth rather than be enslaved by the world.
I meant to say it is a daily decision to stay in His word.
Amen Katy, thanks for commenting! The more the world and our flesh are involved the more enslaved we are. Certainly is a moment decision to turn to Him, His Word and His Spirit for freedom to be in His will and not the limitations of world and flesh. Blessings to you!
I love that prayer, Tom! Praying it with you today! God bless you and the freedom you have in Jesus!
Thank you Deb! I am thankful we can pray together!! God is good!
