Today’s Scripture: Numbers 11:16 NKJ: “Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.
Both God and Moses had about all they could take from the whiners and complainers in the desert in Numbers 11. Moses’ prayers helped save the people from certain destruction.
In the days of old and now it is God who puts the Spirit of the LORD upon us. The LORD’S work is not up to a few. We all share in the burden of God. It is God and His Spirit that are our power. He has given the Spirit to us and we can choose to live in it or look to our flesh. The flesh leads us to whining and complaining while the Spirit of the Lord leads us to His glory.
The Spirit of the LORD works miracles through us and changes not only our lives but those around us.
Are you willing to receive and live in the Spirit of the Lord today?

Affirmations of God
I choose the Spirit of God. But I know even as I choose it this morning I will have to choose Him again later. The flesh keeps trying to muscle in and restore the complaints department. It’s a moment to moment walk isn’t it.
Most definitely Joseph!! I remember recently reading and writing from a scripture that says the flesh and the spirit battle everyday…I can so relate to the moment by moment!! I pray to more and more turn to the Spirit and always repent and turn back…Thank you my brother.
I am willing to receive and live in the Spirit of the Lord today! I agree with Pastor J that it is definitely a moment by moment walk and I thank God He is always right beside me in this walk, amen!
Amen Debby, ONLY by His strength can I turn back to the Spirit from my flesh. I am thankful for God’s grace and the support of brothers and sisters to seek after His heart and Spirit at all times. Blessings!
