Today’s Scripture: Romans 8:26 NLT Tyndale: And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don’t even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings what cannot be expressed in words.
The Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. Are we too busy asking for help to allow the Holy Spirit to help us? Even if we do know what to pray and how we should pray, wouldn’t the prayers of the Holy Spirit be far better?
We pray from what we know. The Holy Spirit prays from God to God and connects us all. When the Holy Spirit prays we are one. The Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ is living in us. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. It is this Spirit who gives us life; a life we cannot even imagine. How can you ask for what you cannot imagine?
We cannot even express in words what will help us from our distress. However the Holy Spirit knows better than we. Are you willing to have the Holy Spirit pray for you?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Spirit. I know You hear His groaning for me. I trust fully You and Your Spirit and what You desire for and through me. I welcome the groaning of the Holy Spirit and am filled with You. Holy Spirit You know my distress and You know the help I need more than I. Please pray for me and help me in my distress. Amen

Affirmations of God

I’ve asked the Holy Spirit to pray for me many times when I truly want to pray what the Lord wants to hear. Only the Holy Spirit knows exactly what God wants to hear. Have a great week-end Tom.
