Today’s Scripture: Acts 9:31 ESV: So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.
The early church found that it multiplied and grew as they walked in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Saul learned fear on the road to Damascus where Jesus blinded him and got His attention. As Ananias laid his hands on Saul he received the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Saul became Paul and continues to multiply the church to this very day.
The remainder of this chapter we witness Peter do great healings as he knelt and prayed.
The world will be changed today as we regularly kneel and pray. As we kneel and pray, walk in the fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit we will build up peace. This is not a complicated formula just one that requires fear of the Lord and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Will you walk in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit today?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us to walk in the fear of You and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. You are above all things, in all things and through all things. What a privilege it is Father God to kneel before You and praise You. Pour out your Holy Spirit LORD upon us. Use us God to do Your will and multiply Your peace. Draw us near Father so we will walk with You. Amen.
