Today’s Scripture: 1 Peter 1:3 NLT: All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,
At times I wonder if I am delusional. I KNOW the world around me thinks I am delusional but the Word of God fills me with a GREAT EXPECTATION.
It is simply too weird for my words to explain how the Word of God is so timely and perfect. I cannot make this stuff up. I PROMISE you, if you will go to them, the Words of God will allow you to live with great expectation. I have been on this journey for over seven years. Even though my life may be a total mess, God’s Word reassures, promises even, great things for me and you.
I have no earthly idea why I love to find these affirmations but I do. I was reminded this morning that all I can control is to live in God’s love. When we live there and go there we learn to live with great expectation.
What is the source of your expectations now?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I love you and thank You for Your great love for me. Because of Your love and because of Your Word and Holy Spirit I live with great expectation now. Forgive me Father for when I look for love elsewhere or have great expectations in things of this World. I praise You God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and pray to live in Your love. Amen

Affirmations of God

Hi Tom: I haven’t thought of “living with great expectations” I guess because of the lessons He taught me during what I call my “5 year odyessey.” (You’ll have to read my book to understand that) I think with me it’s more of a calm reassurance. He says He’ll do this, that, or the other and through several trials and tests He proved to me that He does what He says. I do expect Him to keep His promises but it’s more of a , “Okay, no sweat, He’ll take care of it.”
Have a blessed week-end.
One day I will read your book for sure Sue! God’s amazing love and grace fills me with great expectation of witnessing His great love for us and how we can serve as part of His body! Blessings in His care.
