Today’s Scripture: Galatians 3:11 ESV: Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”
Do you believe God? God made a promise to Abraham 430 years before the “law” was presented to us from the mountain. Do you believe you are a child of God by His promise or His law? This was Paul’s question to the Galatians.
Galatians 3:6 says Abraham “believed God”. Do we? God sends His Spirit into our hearts not because of what we do according to the law but because we believe. It is our faith, our believing God that makes us heirs to His promises.
Through faith we receive God’s promise and His Spirit. God only calls us to believe Him. We are not called to believe IN Him but to believe Him. He made a promise to Abraham and we are heirs to that promise if we believe. We are blessed in faith, along with Abraham. I choose to believe and to live by this faith, how about you?
Today’s Prayer: Abba, Father thank You for Your promise. I believe You God that I am an heir to Your promise. Your promise stands forever and above all. Thank You for adopting me as Your child. I do believe You have and I do place all my faith in You. God I come to You and accept Your promise. I am blessed by faith. Amen

Affirmations of God

I like “not just believe in Him but believe Him.” So true and so many say, “Yeah I believe in God” and that’s about as far as it goes. Thanks, Tom. Point well made.
Thank you Sue! I don’t think most have considered the extreme difference. The ruler of this world keeps us distracted and focused on the wrong beliefs for sure. I truly appreciate your perspective and support! Blessings as you believe Him!
The minute someone says, “Oh yeah, I believe in God” my response is, “So does Satan!”
I enjoy your posts and look forward to many more.
I so appreciate your kind words. It is so encouraging that a true “writer” hangs in here with me. God is using you to bless me and spur me on and I thank you for being so faithful!!
Wow, “a true writer.” I just hold the pen, the Holy Spirit does all the work. Thank you. That’s very kind and encourages,me, too.
