Today’s Scripture: Luke 24:41 NLT: Still they stood there in disbelief, filled with joy and wonder. Then he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
Jesus still fills us with joy and wonder, doesn’t He? I love how Jesus appears. Many times in this affirmation journey I have had Jesus appear and I have been filled with joy and wonder. My motivation and calling to share Affirmations of God is to share this joy and wonder that has filled me.
The disciple’s hearts were also filled with doubt and we find this too, don’t we? Doubt, joy and wonder can coexist in us. Yet Jesus proved Himself to them and us. He revealed Himself and He opened up their minds to the scriptures and He does the same thing for us.
We each have our locked doors and once Jesus appears there and reveals Himself in the Word, we too may find ourselves in disbelief but miraculously filled. Where does Jesus appear in your life? Can you share the joy and wonder that has filled you?
Today’s Prayer: Jesus, thank You for Your Word. Thank you for helping me share Your joy and wonder. Thank You for Your faithfulness even when I doubt. Thank You Lord for giving me Your peace and breathing Your Holy Spirit upon me. You are my Lord and My God, I am sure of it. Amen
