Today’s Scripture: May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Ephesians 2:1 NLT
Paul knew it, we know it. We have looked in every crook and cranny only to realize God is our only source of grace and peace. Paul wrote these words in his introduction to the people of Ephesus while sitting in a Roman prison.
When did you realize it is God who gives us grace and peace? Or have you? Just yesterday I was reading in Acts 24 and 25 and captured a couple of affirmations that fed me some of the results of this grace and peace. In Acts 24:15 I really know that “I have hope in God.” This hope comes through grace.
In Acts 25:19 I felt the passion of the apostles when they stated “I insist Jesus is alive.” His aliveness gives me peace. Today, right now, He is alive and He proves Himself active in our lives. Are you in prison or in the desert right now? Just know He is alive. Keep showing up and going to Him and His grace and His peace will become real. I know you will find hope, grace and peace.
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank you for loving us. You are generous with your grace and peace and I thank you. Your gift to us is alive and well. I believe in the resurrection of the dead and I believe in You. Thank You for offering Your grace to save us. You are God and I praise You and Your Way. Amen

Grace must be a catalyst for today’s blogs. Must have been one of those “words for the day” thingys. Good word today Tom. I am in need of God’s daily grace.

Grace is one of those words that I hear alot… and then think to myself, “Wow, I need to hear more of that.” 🙂

We can’t be reminded enough can we. We seem to think and act as if it is works and the law but in truth it is grace alone. Thanking Him for His grace and His love! Thanks Dustin!
