There is one thing I do know: I was blind but now I see! Ref: John 9:25

Today’s Scripture: John 9:25, NIV- He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

The Pharisees were seeking to silence the story of Jesus giving sight to the blind man. They were not seeking the truth but a way to protect their world view. They were trying to paint Jesus as a sinner for not following their rules and their understanding.

We can see this all around us today. People try to cancel the stories of others. When the Pharisees caught up to the former blind man, he simply responded to their position that Jesus was a sinner by saying: “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

This is a great position for us to take today.  I don’t know about what you are saying but all I know is that I was blind and now I see.

What has Jesus done for you that makes you believe and worship him?

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who came to judge this earth. I believe in You Jesus and I believe You came so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind. Open my eyes to You Lord. Blind me to any beliefs that You do not desire in me. I do not claim to see in my own understanding. All I know Lord is what You have done for me. I praise You and worship You only. Thank You Lord Jesus for revealing Yourself in my afflictions! Amen
