Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 6:16, KJV- “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
I am thankful that the God of the Bible is my God, and I am His. Thank you, God, for promising in 2 Corinthians 6:16 to live and walk with us. Paul was writing this second letter to the Corinthians during challenging times where the early church was being negatively impacted by the evils in society.
In this sixth chapter of 2 Corinthians, Paul was warning about walking with the unbelievers. We are living in an era today where non-believers may outnumber us believers. We must be careful to spread the Gospel while walking and living with God. Our God, who is living and walking among us, guards our hearts in Christ Jesus.
The LORD almighty is our father. We are His sons and daughters. We must be wise as to whom we open our hearts. I am thankful that the LORD almighty resides in our hearts and walks with us to protect us from evil.
Who and what will you open your heart to today?
Today’s Prayer: God, You are my God and I am Yours. Thank You for living and walking in me. I am opening my heart up to You now. Fill me LORD and leave no room for evil. LORD protect my heart as I live. Help us touch the unbelievers yet live with You LORD. Show Your heart LORD and walk among us all so we recognize You in the hearts of others and we all seek to live with You instead of evil. Amen
