Today’s Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16, TLB- “The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.”
I have been convinced that the Bible of God was given to each of us. I share what the Holy Spirit reveals to me to encourage others to go and see what their bible reveals to them. This inspired Word of God proves useful every time we open its pages.
2 Timothy 3 is Paul’s final letter to Timothy instructing him on the perils of the last days. Eerily accurate in describing today’s world, we are encouraged, along with Timothy, to be lovers of God over pleasure. We are called to believe in the power of God.
I find the power of God in my bible. I welcome His truth. I experience God’s strength and perseverance. I learn patience and I certainly feel the sting of rebuke. Most of all, I have found the voice of God to me. The confirmation and communication of the Holy Spirit is found inside these wonderful pages.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for giving Your Bible to me. Thank You for convincing me of Your love, power, and wisdom. Thank You for Your servants who were persecuted to assure I received Your truths. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who guides me to Your Word and confirms in me Your voice. Teach me LORD, rebuke me, straighten me out so I may encourage and teach others the wonders of Your Word so they too will be convinced of Your love and power. Amen
