Out of me come songs of thanksgiving

Today’s Scripture: Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small. Jeremiah 30:19 ESV

 

Whoa, where did that come from? Have you ever asked yourself that question?

 

Today I am comforted by the words and the example of the Israelites in Jeremiah 30:3. The LORD gave Jeremiah the words to tell them that the day was coming when the LORD, their God, would restore them. These songs of thanksgivings would “come out of them” after they had been restored.

 

When I praise God for who He is and for what Jesus has done for me I know I have already been restored. Out of me come songs of thanksgivings from the Spirit He Himself has given me. From one who can not “sing” I know that what does come out of me are songs thanksgivings to Him

 

Have you accepted the restoration of Jesus Christ? Have you accepted that the day has already come where He has restored you?

 

What songs are coming out of you?

 

Today’s Prayer: LORD of Heaven, thank You for restoring me through Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your Word and Your Holy Spirit that bring songs of thanksgivings out of us. LORD thank You for my songs and I pray those that do not believe, those that have yet to know Your restoration will hear our songs of thanksgivings and celebration and know their day has come. Amen
